In a resolute commitment to environmental responsibility and a greener tomorrow, VMG Refit & Repair proudly announces the successful installation of 936 solar panels, each with a capacity of 545 Wp/ud. Collectively, these panels generate a formidable 510.12 KWp of clean, renewable energy.
Driving Sustainability
This initiative underscores our dedication to sustainable practices, as we strive to reduce our environmental footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions. These solar panels are installed on our shipyard’s roof using a state-of-the-art coplanar aluminium structure.
Environmental Impact
The estimated generation from our 510.12 kWp installation is a remarkable 780,314 kWh/year This environmentally friendly power source will contribute significantly to the reduction of carbon emissions. In Spain, every kWh of electricity produced results in the emission of 0.19 kg of CO2. Over 25 years, our photovoltaic plant is expected to prevent a substantial 4,443 tons of CO2 emissions.
